A New “Baby” in the House! Mushroom: A Global History, That Is

Mushroom book rs

I just wanted to share with all of you an exciting moment: I just laid eyes on my new book – Mushroom: A Global History – and promptly burst into tears. I just couldn’t keep a stiff upper lip when I saw the result of years of work on my part and on the part of Reaktion Books UK.

A big “Thank you” to everyone for all your support, comments, and inspiration.

  2. I totally understand the bursting into tears, its the joys of ‘see what I made’ – late nights, words that didn’t sit right and eventually through the toil….here it is. Congratulations.

  3. Congratulations!

Is there anything sweeter than opening a box full of the first copies of one’s new book?

  4. Congratulations! She looks beautiful, just like you! Her gestation may have been more than nine months but she was worth the wait. May she have a long, healthy and properous shelf life.
