When I see pictures like this one, I’m reminded of just how hard life is for so many people in so many places — getting food to eat is not a simple matter of zipping into the nearest fancy deli or trendy bistro for a bite to eat. With our plastic-wrapped meat and endless produce choices (organic or conventional, local or airlifted), we’re still eating at the top of the food chain.
