The following bibliographies that I’ve compiled are by no means complete, nor are they the wholly academic in nature. I add citations as I come to learn about them.

I have a manuscript cookbook which I found tucked into another, early nineteenth century cook book whose inscriptions indicate it was owned by the Bolling family. I found both at a flea market in Williamsburg, Virginia…took the manuscript to a book and manuscript person in Colonial Williamsburg who said the paper and ink an writing style indicated late 18th or early 19th century. Has many interesting recipes, including one for ink. I have a very good scanner and could provide a scan of all pages.
Juliet,
This is fantastic! I would love to see a scanned version of this. When would you be able to do this? Do you need payment?
Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
Best,
Cindy
